Buck Lake Adventures is Newfoundland owned and operated. We are located in Central Newfoundland and our hunting areas border the boundary of Gros Morne National Park. We pride ourselves on personalized service, while offering an experience of a lifetime with our big game hunts for Moose, Woodland Caribou and Black Bear.

Owner/Operator Roger Sheppard and his crew grew up in Newfoundland, so they know and love the country they hunt. What started as a love for hunting turned into a guiding job and after 20 years, Roger decided to start Buck Lake Adventures which has been in operation over 8 years.

We operate two hunting camps. Buck Lake Camp is accessible by road, and Adie’s Lake Remote Camp that is accessible by fly-in or via boat.

Transportation while hunting is done with trucks, argos, atv, boats and canoe’s to get you into the prime remote hunting locations. Rest assured you are in good hands and we know all “the good spots”.
